Food for Thought

The new year is just round the corner and before 2012 slowly creeps away, lets look inside ourselves and identify that something that makes us feel most invigorated and inspired. This, William James, a philosopher thought, is the thing that most clearly reveals our true selves.

This thing – whatever it happens to be – cannot be suppressed or ignored, without great loss to the individual. If our innermost being longs for wide-open spaces, yet we spend all our time cooped up in an office or an apartment, we will never be fulfilled. If we have the soul of an artist, but never make time to be creative, we will live only half of a life.
